The Trapo Group (hereinafter: we) includes Trapo Nederland BV, Combiflex Produktie & Montage BV, Trapo Belgium BV and Trapo France SARL. We are located at three addresses. Collection of personal data

There are several situations in which you pass your personal data to us. For example, if you want to be called back, request a brochure, are a supplier, place an order, request a quotation or apply for a vacancy. If you tell us that we are not allowed to use your information to contact you for anything other than handling your request, we will respect that wish.

We process your personal data because you purchase products and/or services from us and/or because you provide the data to us. An overview of the personal data we process can be found below:

Purpose of processing your personal data

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Sending out our email newsletter, mouse pad with annual calendar and/or brochures;
  • To call or email you if to do so is necessary to implement an order;
  • Analysis of your behaviour on the website and/or the email newsletter in order to improve the website and/or the newsletter or to better tune it to your interests.

The sharing of personal data with third parties

We will not share your data with third parties. We will not sell your data to third parties, and will only pass it on if this is necessary to conclude our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We enter into a processing agreement with any third parties that process your data at our request (see “Tools we use”); this is to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data is adhered to. We remain responsible for these processing operations.


Mailchimp for email newsletter

We use the MailChimp tool to send our email newsletter. If you have registered for our newsletter, you are on our mailing list in this program. Using web beacons in our newsletters, we can check which reports have been opened and how often links to external content are clicked. This is to measure interest in certain subjects and to better tailor the content of future newsletters.

MailChimp is based in the US and stores the email addresses of recipients of our newsletter on servers outside Europe. MailChimp has installed very good security on its systems and treats your data confidentially. The MailChimp privacy statement can be found here. We have entered into a processor agreement with MailChimp.

Unsubscribe and view/change registration details

If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each newsletter. You will also find a link at the bottom of each newsletter with which you can view and/or change your registration data.
If you are unable to unsubscribe or view and/or change your registration details as described above, please send your request to We will fulfil your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks.

Google analytics for website optimisation

We use Google Analytics to optimise our website for visitors. We do this in as privacy-friendly a way as possible. We have taken the following steps to achieve this:

  • the IP addresses are anonymised; therefore, we cannot trace you;
  • “sharing data” within Google Analytics is turned off;
  • we do not combine Google Analytics with other Google services;
  • we have entered into a processor agreement with Google.

Google may also transfer this information to third parties if Google is legally required to do so, or in so far as third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. More information about the Google Analytics policy can be found here.

(Open) applications/internships

If you respond to a vacancy, send an open application, or express an interest in an internship via our website or via another channel, you will probably provide us with personal information in the form of a CV.
We can use this information anywhere within the Trapo Group to handle your application or provide a response. At the moment that it is clear you are not eligible for the position or, in the case of an open application, a job, we will delete your data immediately. If we want to retain your details in order to be able to make an offer at a later time, we will inform you about this. If you object to this, your data will be removed immediately.

Right to view, adapt and remove data
